In the city of Hokuto, Yamanashi Prefecture, where one can enjoy breathtaking views of the majestic Southern Alps and Yatsugatake, this tour is the opportunity for you to the following experience; appreciating art, donning Jomon costumes for commemorative photos in authentically recreated pit dwellings at the Umenoki ruins (JAPAN HERITAGE: Obsidian and the Prehistoric Dwellers of the Chubu Mountains), followed by a tea ceremony experience and a moment spent in the Japanese historic house, designated as an Important Cultural Property.

Kiyoharu Art Colony
Kiyoharu Art Colony offers more than just an impressive collection of works by renowned architects such as Gustave Eiffel, Yoshio Taniguchi, Tadao Ando, and Terunobu Fujimori. Throughout the seasons, you can enjoy the beauty of 100-year-old cherry trees in spring, wisteria in early summer, lush greenery in summer, autumn foliage in fall, and snow-covered peaks in winter. The art facility provides various expressions and experiences throughout the year.
Umenoki Ruins Jomon Costume Experience
Change into Jomon period costumes, take commemorative photos at the Jomon ruins, and receive explanations from archaeologists. Umenoki Ruins are circular settlement remains from the middle Jomon period, dating back approximately5,000 years. Designated as a national historic site on March 18, 2014, it includes about 150 residential remains and features traces of life along the Yuzawa River, as well as the "Jomon Road" leading from the residential area to the Yuzawa River. The site has been developed into a historical park and is open to the public.
Yatsushirokejuutaku (Japanese historic house, designated as an Important Cultural Property)
Built in the 5th year of the Bunka era (1808), the Yatsushirokejuutaku is a late Edo-period farmhouse. Designated as a nationally important cultural property in1976, it represents a valuable example of upper-class agricultural architecture from the late Edo period. With high-quality materials, well-preserved design, minimal post-construction modifications, and good overall condition, the Yatsushirokejuutaku is a significant cultural asset.
Tea Ceremony Experience
Inviting customers to the tea room and provide them with the experience of a Japanese tea ceremony.
Travel conditions

The tea ceremony experience lasts from 60 to 90 minutes, and participation is not recommended for infants, toddlers, and lower-grade children.
The location for the tea ceremony experience may vary depending on the season.
The restaurant for lunch may be subject to change, and there is a possibility of altering the overall schedule.
Jomon period experience content is subject to change depending on the weather and season.
English-Japanese interpreter guide accompanies for information in foreign languages. Other languages are not supported.
Cancellation Policy
Counting from the day before the start of the trip:
Cancellation before the 11th day: Free
Cancellation from the 10th day to 8th days before: 30% of the travel fare
Cancellation from the 7th day to 2nd days before: 50% of the travel fare
Cancellation on the day before the trip starts: 70% of the travel fare
Same-day cancellation or no-show without notice: 100% of the travel fare
